I love reading books and I don't follow a specific genre. I started writing rewiews a year ago and this is the first year that I decided to do it more often.
Daughter of Smoke & Bone
Oh my god… wow and WOW.I can’t believe it took me so long to read it! I need the sequel NOW!
Murder of Crows: A Novel of the Others
[4.5 stars] As the first book, this one started pretty slow but the ending made it worth the wait. I really love Anne Bishop writing style!! I can't wait for the third one!!
Abandon
[1.5 stars] No… No… why? It started so good and then, half way through, it just… meh! I didn’t enjoy the story at all, it was quite boring actually. I didn’t feel anything towards any of the characters and the truth is I don’t even care about any of them. So, no, I won’t be reading the second one.
Avoiding Commitment
I’m not going to rate this book. Why? Because… I don’t know how. It made me feel lots of things, especially anger. I felt anger towards Jack, Bekah, Lexi, almost all the characters. Jack is an a**hole, Bekah a bitch and Lexi… oh, my dear Lexi, you’re the most annoying character I’ve ever read about. You are even more annoying than Emma from Jane Austen. But, the book as a whole is a really good one. K. A. Linde knows what she is doing and she does it perfectly. All the things I felt, they wouldn’t be there if not by Linde’s writing style. All in all, It’s a good book... with very annoying characters.
Reparation
I enjoyed reading Reparation. It was a nice closure to an amazing trilogy! :) [3.5 stars]
Wicked Lovely
[3.5 Stars] Ok... I like it but I didn't love it. There was too much information to assimilate and it took me a while to understand the problem between the Winter Queen and the Summer king. Though, I really enjoy the ending: I like this twisted version of "Queen and King". Hopefully, the second one is going to be a little bit easier to understand.
